Screw Types and Slot Types
Phillips screws are mainly divided into two categories according to slot type:
PH (Phillips) series: Commonly used in electronic devices and small machinery, such as PH0 (diameter ≤ 2mm), PH2 (diameter 3-5mm).
PZ (Pozidriv) series: More slip-resistant, often used in furniture and automobiles, such as PZ1 (diameter 2-3mm), PZ3 (diameter 6-8mm).
Size Parameters
The main size parameters of a Phillips screw include:
Thread Diameter: Metric such as M3, M4, or imperial such as #6, #8.
Nominal Length: Generally ranges from 1mm to 60mm, with special custom lengths available.
Head Diameter and Thickness: The head is pan-shaped with a Phillips slot on top; the head diameter is usually slightly larger than the thread diameter, and the thickness is as specified by the standard.
Slot Width and Depth: Designed according to GB944.1 standards or Z-type slot styles to ensure compatibility with screwdrivers.
